The magnifying glass is the original one and remains in stunning condition. The handle and the ring that supports the glass are made of sterling silver the handle is decorated with engraved classic volutes at both ends. It also bears the mentioned hallmarks, among which we can see the silversmiths mark with the capital letters H. W. The rest of the marks correspond to the place of origin, the English city of Sheffield, and the year of making.
