Pair of Spanish candlesticks in solid sterling silver. Circular base and shaft in baluster both with vegetal motives of decoration. The four arms in volute and the central stem are worked in the same way. The appearance of the whole is excellent. Its measures are: 268mm (H), 159 mm (base diameter) and 42mm (candle holder diameter). Their individual weights are 699 grms and 741 grms including the counterweight. This type of mobile supports, originally manufactured in Spain since the time of the Tartessians, were originally used for candle lighting, today relegated to the creation of special atmospheres: an intimate dinner, a celebration with a distinguished touch, etc. We maintain the belief that objects made of noble material become larger with the passage of time and are multipurpose.
