Case with four silver and gold flatware

Set of four striking silver and gilt cutlery arranged in a case, whose purpose is probably the table service. The lid of the case is discreetly adorned by two parallel golden strokes; in its interior part it shows a velvet base to rest the objects that it keeps and the inner face of the cover is lined in silk . The set is composed of two forks and two paletinas. Their handles are identically decorated with vegetal motifs. All of them are possibly of white silver, in spite of not evidencing it with their respective contrast. The part that is not a handle is aesthetically very embellished because it is gold plated. The whole set shows exceptional preservation conditions. Case size: 3,50 cm (H), 22,50 cm (W), 13 cm (D).
