Decorative Blown-Glass Oil and Vinegar Bottle with Attractive Solid Silver Cruet Stand. Dating from the beginning of the 19th century, between 1823 and 1838. The two blown-glass original bottles are very remarkable, being also in perfect condition. They are quite delicate and the beautiful lobed hollow caps stand out because of their elegance; they are made of blown glass too. Great cruet stand in engraved silver, fully decorated with vegetal motives and exquisite volutes. The decoration covers the handle with its delicate and wavy designs. On the rope-shaped handle we can see a decorative central grenade flanked by two spirals, which provides the piece with great splendor. The bottles rest on a rectangular cruet stand supported by four small legs. These legs show the same decoration as the handle and the body. The stand shows the French silver marks which attest to the date and place of making, and also the silversmiths mark: Lenglet Charles Antoine Amand / 32 Rue du Bourg L'Abbé / Paris, silversmith from 1823 to 1843. The pieces are completely original and they are in perfect condition, with all its contrasts. They are beautifully made, both the cruet stand and the oil and vinegar bottles. Beautiful and decorative piece that will fill your meals with elegance. Measurements: 36 x 23 cm (cruet stand) 12,5 cm (height of bottles). Silver weight: 610 gr.
