Magnificent Castellana in silver. Authentic and rare. Completely original. XIX Century.

Great châtelaine made of high-quality silver in the 19th century. This fantastic piece has a central piece made of engraved silver with openwork, and decorated with beautiful interlaced vegetal motives. At the top there is a crowned oval medallion, decorated with a beautifully executed chimera. At the center there are three aligned oval pearled medallions, which show a stylized four-petal flower in the center. On the sides of the central structure there are two pairs of chains of different lengths, which follow the vegetal style of the pieces showing lovely floral medallions. At the rear we can find a big pincer, used to hang the chatelaine from the clothes. This wonderful piece has also the marks indicating it is a genuine silver item. On the rear pincer and the final hook we can see a boar-shaped mark, and also the silversmith marks: A&P inscribed into a diamond. The piece is in perfect condition, with no apparent signs of wear. It is a genuine piece, very rare and original. Exclusive silver piece which will undoubtedly stand out in any good collection.
