Spectacular Set of Coffee and Samovar in Solid Silver, made in Spain in the mid-twentieth century. Incredible set of beautiful workmanship, which sits on a rectangular tray, consisting of coffee pot, teapot, sugar bowl and jug, plus the spectacular central samovar. The large tray is decorated throughout its profile with chiseled fruit vases, vegetable forms, as well as incredibly detailed figures of chimeras. The different objects that make up this set follow the same stylistic parameters, with a ribbed base topped with lobed and center, which repeats the decoration of the edge of the tray based on coats of arms without engraving, vegetable and fruit forms and beautifully made braces. The original decoration of chimeras of two types, zoomorphic and special human figures of naked torso, with tail and wings, undoubtedly stand out. The spouts of the coffee pot and the teapot are chiseled with a spectacular form of an old man that resembles Neptune, which further embellishes this incredible piece. The lids of the pieces continue the style, and are topped with a fine vase-like finial filled with fruit. The majestic samovar rests on a spectacular support endowed on the front by what looks like the face of Neptune, matching the rest of the pieces. It has handles with double hinges, which makes it easier to pour the liquid. It also has two ivory washers, like the coffee pot and the teapot, which prevents heat from passing to the upper part of the handle. Piece with the contrasts that attest to its value and location: ANGEL ORENSE. This incredible set is in an admirable state of preservation, without any scratch or blow, truly perfect.A majestic piece for lovers of good silver.Measures: 53 x 42 cm (without handles). 42 cm (total height samovar). Total weight: 6 kg.
