Exquisite solid-silver couple of fighting rosters, dated in the mid 20th century (circa 1950) and in excellent condition. The birds and fully made of silver and bear hallmarks that guarantee their quality. The figures depict two roosters in the middle of a fight; one of them shows a simpler design and could be mistaken with a hen, (possibly a young cock) but the feathery tail and the aggressive pose are typical of fighting roosters. The two figures show some gold-plated parts that provide them with attractive, turning this set into a charming vintage piece. One of the roosters is standing up and shows a fluffy neck, while the other is squatting under in a defensive pose. Both birds bear hallmarks in the tail, one of them being a five-pointed star.
