Solid 925 sterling silver serving pitcher.

It is decorated in the upper part of the body with a border of vegetal motifs. The handle is shaped like a volute. The pouring spout is in the shape of a bird's beak. This type of pitcher is used to serve milk in coffee and tea sets. It measures 12,5cm wide by 7,2 cm high and weighs 82grs. It has the corresponding quality and origin punches. The upper punch with the name Reed & Barton was founded by Isaac Babbitt in Taunton, Massachusetts in 1824 and the "Sterling" punch certifies that it is made of 925 sterling silver. The punch with the letter "X" and the number "828" is an internal mark of the factory.
