Level in fantastic conditions of conservation manufactured in London, England in the twenties (twentieth century) by the firm Cooke, Troughton & Simms, Ltd. It is so identified on the top with the reference number "Y3065". It retains its transport box, which also includes several tools for the maintenance of the device and a plumb bob with a bright copper-colored luster. On the inside of the lid of this box are attached the documents that verify the successive adjustments of the apparatus for its correct operation; thus, we know that it was adjusted by the firm J. Halden & Co. Ltd. of Stockport in: 1937, 1957 and finally in 1965. All of the spirit levels are in very good condition, as are the gilt adjusting screws and their lenses. The glossy black lacquer finish shows hardly any signs of rubbing. It is in excellent condition. Measurements: 25 cms (length), 10,5 cms (width), 14 cms (height).
