Amazing drawing-instrument case made in England in the 19th century. This case keeps all the original pieces in very good condition so they can be used just like when the set was manufactured. The utensils and accessories come into their original wooden case, lined inside with dark red velvet and satin. As well as the metal compasses and drawing pens, the set also includes some wooden pieces such as templates, a protractor and other utensils. This pieces and some other are stored under the velvet-covered tray designed to store the drawing instruments.The wooden set comes with other metal elements such as a beautiful brass protractor. In this set we can also find a template to draw irregular curves and a group of squares and triangles, as well as a ruler and a utensil the mobile brass parts. All the instruments are in perfect condition and time seems not to have gone by over them. The wood is clean and neat, with only a hand-written signature on one of the small squares. The brass is also shiny and polished.The set of compasses and drawing pens is very beautiful. It is made of brass, silvery metal and bone handles. All the pieces are complete and keep even the smallest original components. They are all precision utensils, in very good condition and looking great. On the other hand, the case is the original one and is made of solid dark wood with deep veneer. In the middle of the lid we can see an embedded rectangular brass plate. Inside, the dark red satin-lined plank can be removed to reveal a red felt compartment designed to store the protractor.This striking English drawing-instrument case can be the perfect present for any professional architect, draftsman or illustrator.
