The daggers shows off a balanced and interesting design, with straight sharp blade and hilt with curved quillons. Defense daggers were formerly used as a complement of the sword and also to be carried under the clothes as personal defense weapons. The curved quillons provide the dagger with a special and attractive look. Close to the gross-guard we can see the blades mark, clearly stamped on the metal. The blade is in quite good condition, showing only some slightly darkened parts due to the trace of time. The hilt, on the other hand, is wonderfully preserved. The cross-guard is made of still and so is the pommel that trims the top end. The grip is made of solid wood with a lovely golden brown color.
