Magnificent Spanish cavalry sword, model Puerto Seguro, from the age of Alfonso XIII. Grip with iron garnish and wooden hilt, carved depicting a net fixed by two aligned screws. The guard is complete, Prussian-style. On the outside of the guard we can see the symbol with two crossed lances and two swords, under the royal crown. In the lances there are two side flags, hoisted, symbolizing two different colors (red and yellow): the colors of the Spanish flag. The Royal Spanish Crown has eight fleurons of which we can only see five; and there are also eight inserted pearls closed by eight diadems, of which, again, we can see only five. They are also garnished with pearls and crowned with a cross over an orb. Both the swords and the crown are carved in detail. The slim and long straight blade has a central channel. At the top of the blade we can see the inscription: ARTILLERÍA over two crossed swords, and in the other side, the number 17233. It comes with its original scabbard with upper ring and reinforcement in the tip. Magnificent sword! Perfect to complete a collection.
