Slim and antique Spanish cavalry sword, from the age of King Carlos IV and made in 1802. It is a really magnificent piece, 100% authentic and original, with a nice design. Its age indicates that this sword undoubtedly took part in the Independence War between Spain and France that took place in XIX. This fact turns it into a very singular and special piece in the field of war antiques. The blade is long and thin, and close to the hilt it has some stamps depicting signs and initials. The mark just by the hilt shows an A and two circles, and on the other side, an Y indicates that it is an infantry blade. The hilt is quite simple and it has two cylindrical-shaped quillons. The metal has fine engravings which show a design of parallel rings. On the other hand, the twine is in good condition. The sword is in good general condition, considering its age and use. It is no doubt a beautiful antique piece, which will embellish any room or ambient, and will shine in the most complete collection of war antiques. Sword measurements: Length: 870 mm.
