Antique Japanese dagger used in World War II, of the Nippon Imperial Navy, fully original and made circa 1940. This fine weapon, which surely belonged to one of the Japanese soldiers that took part in the content. The dagger is straight in shape and mounts a hand-engraved bone grip that imitates a reptile skins pattern. I preserves the complete twisted wire and the metal pommel, decorated with an engraved flower at the top. The cross-guard is made of brass, while the blade is made of steel; the blade is in amazing condition and shows no signs of rust or wear. The scabbard is a gorgeous piece; it is made of black leather and boasts an unmistakable Japanese design. The brass locket and chappe are embellished with hand-engraved flowers and leaves, similar to the one at the pommel. The black leather is finely preserved, while the locket keeps the two original rings for the straps. This outstanding Japanese dagger used in World War II, entirely original from the time, is a fearsome and decorative weapon that will stand out in any place.
