Beautiful antique Spanish artillery officer sword, model 1862. This superb sword was manufactured in Spain in 1873 and has survived to our days in the wonderful condition that we can appreciate in the images. The sword comes with its original steel scabbard, also finely preserved and with a nice glowing surface. The blade is made of steel too and bears a lovely hand-engraved decoration which frames the inscription FÁBRICA DE TOLEDO 1873 (Factory of Toledo). This inscription makes it possible to date and position the sword. If the blade is gorgeous, the swords stylish hilt is an equally beautiful element. It is made of brass and bears the embossed symbol of the artillery corps (two crossed cannons under the royal crown) at the cross-guard. The D-guard that connects the cross-guard and the pommel is decorated with an engraved vegetal motifs that reaches the grip.
