Vintage Spanish aviation NCO dagger, model 1946. This is an authentic piece, original from the time and in very good condition. It comes with the original steel scabbard and the chain to hang it from the uniform. The cross-guard is complete though it shows a series of cracks caused by the instability of the material it is made of. This feature is commonly seen in many weapons from the time. At the front side, the cross-guard shows the shield of the Spanish flying corps; at the rear side we can see the Spanish pre-constitutional coat of arms. The blade is made of steel and is greatly preserved, showing no signs of wear. At the top of the blade we find the mark of the Toledo Factory of Arms, clearly engraved in the metal surface. The grip is made of ebony-like finished wood and preserves the original twine and cord. This elegant Spanish vintage aviation dagger is an authentic weapon, with a stylized design and finely preserved. It will surely stand out in a good collection of antique militaría. Dimensions: Blade Length: 14.17 in / 36 cm. Total Length: 18.9 in / 48 cm.
