Fine antique sword for infantry officer model 1902, forged in the United States and in good condition. The sword comes with its original steel scabbard, also finely preserved; both pieces make up a great item with a remarkable interest for any collector. The blade bears a lovely acid-etched decoration with classic volutes and inscriptions. Near the hilt we can see the factory mark and the name of the city where the sword was made: WASHINGTON. The decoration is complete, and though it shows some slight signs of wear due to the trace of time and use, it still provides the sword with an uncommon beauty. The hilt mounts dark solid-wooden grip and brass D-guard. The guard is divided in branches which make up an original and interesting design.
