Antique Spanish machete for security forces model 1906. This weapon stands out for its attractive design which combines three materials: steel, solid wood and brass. The hilts original pommel is missing, but otherwise the machete is complete and has survived to our days in good condition. These weapons are characterized by their short and blunt blades, with no sharp tips or edges, since they were used to hit. The one that we can see in the images has a greatly preserved blade, with a polished and shiny surface. The hilt mounts two solid-wooden reinforcement pieces and brass cross-guard with two curved quillons. The wooden pieces boast a fine golden-brown color and are strongly riveted to the grip. At the top, the grip has a rectangular-shaped opening for the strap. This Spanish machete for security forces model 1906 is a real collectors piece, perfect to decorate and enhance any room.
