Antique Spanish sword for infantry officer model 1926, made in Spain nearly one hundred years old and in fine condition. This singular piece comes with its original steel scabbard, finely preserved and with an ancient leather garment and two light-brown colored cord braids. The sword mounts a steel blade with an engraved rectangular mark near the cross-guard. The hilt is made of black solid wood; the wood bears a hand-carved diamond pattern which improves the grip. The wooden pieces are attached to the base by rivets. The D-guard is made of golden metal, with ample bowl-shaped cross-guard decorated with a flaming bomb (symbol of the artillery corps) and openwork motifs. The sword, the scabbard and the garment are greatly preserved, making up a both authentic and attractive item.
