Antique Spanish bayonet model 1913 for Mauser rifle, made in Spain and in very good condition. This weapon comes with its original scabbard; the trace of time has slightly reduced its length and today the locket does not reach the cross-guard. Nevertheless, this is an unimportant detail which does not affect the items beauty and authenticity. These weapons were designed to be attached to the iconic Mauser rifles, used in most of the 20th-century great wars. The bayonet mounts steel hilt and blade, both greatly preserved and with no traces of rust or wear. The grip as solid oak wooden side parts, carved by hand with a diamond pattern that improves the grip. The blade bears the bayonets serial number engraved just under the cross-guard. Last but not least, the scabbard is made of greatly-preserved black leather and keeps the original steel locket and chappe.
