Fine reproduction of the British sword model 1845 for infantry officer, made in the 1970s-80s. This is a beautiful piece, made in full detail, very decorative and at a really good price. The sword is well balanced and reproduces perfectly all the details of the original sword. The blade is decorated with a subtle engraved motif composed of volutes and flowers, where we can also see the royal crown, an anagram and a six-pointed star. On the other hand, the hilt is made of brass and has a D-guard divided in several quillons. The quillons adopt a curved shape to form the cross-guard, ample and with an openwork decoration which shows the crown and the anagram again. The black wooden grip is partially covered by a brass piece which ends at the pommel. The sword comes with a steel scabbard which reproduces faithfully the original one too. This great reproduction of the British sword model 1845 for infantry officer will stand out on the most important wall of a stylish dining room. Dimensions: Blade Length: 33 in / 84 cm. Total Length: 39 in / 99 cm.
