Attractive Prussian sword for infantry officer M. 1889, made in Germany in the late 19th century and in very good condition. The sword comes in its original black metal scabbard and is a beautiful and historic weapon. The steel blade is finely preserved and shows a gorgeous antique patina which provides it with even more interest. The hilt is made of embossed brass and mounts a fine loop guard with an openwork engraved Prussian eagle with the Royal Cypher of the emperor William II. The wooden grip preserves the original leather covering and the twine. It is decorated also with the Royal Cypher of the emperor William II also visible at the guard.
