Gorgeous antique bayonet Modelo Argentino 1909 (Argentine Model 1909), coming from Argentina and made in Germany for the market of the country. This is an awesome piece for its great condition: it is almost like new, being a collector’s item perfect to be exhibited as part of the decoration. The bayonet comes with its steel scabbard, which preserves the original leather harness in perfect condition. Both pieces, bayonet and scabbard, bear the hand-engraved serial number F 6767; this means that they were manufactured at the same time and have remained together since the beginning. The bayonet’s blade bears two inscriptions near the hilt: one of them reads MODEL ARGENTINE 1909, while the other reflects the name of the German manufacturer, located in the city of Solingen. The hilt mounts solid-wooden side plates in excellent condition and steel cross-guard with curved quillons, stylish and solid.
