Excellent condition German artillery officer's saber from the inter-war period (years 1918 to 1939); possibly made around 1930. The harness is in metal with a stirrup ring that ends in a cross with shields in its center that fit in the rim of the scabbard and a cockerel turned towards the tip at its end. It has a running saddle and ferrule. The handle is made of ebony wood with wide gallons and is wired with copper twine between two smooth wires in impeccable condition. The blade, slightly curved, is in very good condition, shiny throughout and with half-round vaceos. It has a running edge on the outside and a slightly more than two-thirds square spine on the inside. The scabbard is made of iron with a clamp and its corresponding ring, all finished in black. The length of the weapon is 98 cms and the blade 85 cms.
