Impressive Telegraph Station in Museum Condition. Germany, 1900

This awesome morse telegraph station is an exclusive piece, a rare article in impressive museum condition and working order. The station was manufactured in Bayern, Germany around the year 1900 and is optimally preserved, with all its original component parts and some accessories. It comes in its original case, made of solid mahogany wood and also in good condition. The telegraph station is made of golden brass, with black wood base and iron and silvery metal elements. The accessories include four unused paper rolls, four handwritten labels, a telegraph key, a metal tool, a plate and a metal sleeve with glass ink bulbs. This piece is quite singular for its special configuration: it can perform a triple registration of the transmissions thanks to its three-bulb system. The bulbs are preserved in their metal sleeve and can be inserted in their places to reflect the marks on the paper rolls. The complete system boasts an exceptional condition, with almost no signs of the trace of time even the fragile glass bulbs are the original ones. At the top of the brass mechanism we can see an engraved decal with the inscription A.OTT KEMPTEN BAYERN, the name of the Bayern company that manufactured the telegraph station. Both the station and the accessories can be easily stored in the original case that comes with the piece. This is a solid box made of mahogany wood, extremely beautiful and in very good condition. The box keeps the original lock and key in perfect working order. The wood has been carefully restored and boasts a fine French-polish finish whose warm satin glow enhances the reddish and golden color of the light mahogany wood. It also preserves the original piano hinge and the doors closure system.
