Complete and attractive Orga Modell 9 typewriter in good condition and working order. The piece dates from the late 1930s or early 1940s and comes with its original protecting case (with the operating key) and an instruction booklet in German. The mechanism has been revised and fine-tuned to guarantee an excellent working order so the machine can be perfectly used to type documents. Both the protecting case and the solid wood base are well preserved, and together with the typewriter they make up a beautiful and quality article. At the typewriters front, just under the keyboard we can see a white decal reading ORGA A-G, BERLIN FABRIK NÜMBERG. Orga trademark was created by the Bing-Werle AG from Nuremberg in 1922. Under this commercial name the firm launched a great number of models, in the classic black-enamel finish and with more original colors (such as bright green or red). This turns this typewriter in very singular and interesting pieces. The article we can see in these photographs has the classic black-enameled cast-iron body, with a very well preserved finish. Just over the carriage we can see the word ORGA in black and white lettering with low relief. The inscription MODELL 9 is printed to the left of the key levers. The keyboard is composed of black circular keys with white symbols, each one framed with the classical reinforcing nickel-plated ring. The metal case keeps the lock and the key in working order. The typewriter comes with an old and charming cleaning brush. Quite original and singular, this Orga typewriter will display its beauty and elegance in the most special showing place.
