Antique Triumph Multicopier in excellent condition. Spain, 1890

This original machine, in very good condition and singularly attractive, is a duplicator made in Spain in 1890. In spite of being more than one hundred years old, the piece is very well preserved and in working order. It preserves the original wooden protecting case and all its component parts, being a very interesting article for any collector. The duplicator comes with the original key that let the user close the cover to protect and carry the machine. The cover bears the printed market name, TRIUNFO (the Spanish word for triumph), in a clear and beautiful golden lettering. At the right side of the machine we can see a golden label printed on the black enamel. The label imitates a metal plate screwed to the iron and reproduces the following inscription: FÁBRICA DE MULTICOPISTAS OROZCO & ECHEVERRÍA (SL) EIBAR (GUIPUZCOA) ESPAÑA. Fábrica de Multicopistas means factory of duplicators in Spanish. This machine is a real museum piece, as there is a similar piece (same market name and same manufacturer) in the collection of the Museum of Army Industry of Eibar (Basque Country, Spain). Its excellent condition increases even more the interest of the piece. The duplicator, with black-enameled cast-iron body and silvery metal mobile parts, preserves the original cylinder and metal tray and the crank with the wooden handle. At the back of the machine we can see again the market name TRIUNFO in big golden capital letters. The base where the duplicator stands on is made of oak wood, with a nice golden color and in good condition. Last but not least, the protecting cover is made of light-colored sapelly plywood, also well preserved and quite decorative. The oval-shaped metal keyhole cover is also the original one. Because of its rareness and ancient age, this amazing Spanish duplicator deserves to be part of the best collection.
