Rare Oliver Side Stroke Typewriter model 5 , manufactured in Berlin in 1912. It has a very original mechanism based on the side stroke, very different from the mechanism found in the usual typewriters. It consists of a metallic casing in military green color with a dynamic shape that adapts perfectly to the striking system. The lower front part has a white lettering with the name of the brand: OLIVER. In the area of the carriage in yellow color the name of the brand is repeated in addition to indicating the model: 5. The keys in white and yellow color are located in the front part and, by means of lateral tapping, the writing is achieved. Below the space key, a metal plate indicates the patents issued by Oliver. Technically the machine also works well and is in good condition, which makes it a magnificent and original collector's item. A very original piece with which to complete a collection.
