Antique Corona 3 folding type-bar typewriter, made in the United States in 1926 and in very good working order. Simple and functional, this machine displays the charm and beauty of old-time models from the first quarter of the 20th century. The manufacturing company was founded in 1886 and was renamed Corona Typewriters in 1909, and Smith-Corona in 1926. It was active for more than one century, specifically until 1995. Their typewriters were used by famous writers such as Tennessee Williams or Joyce Carol Oates. The model that we can see in the images is a folding model: the type-bar folds over itself so the typewriter can be easily stored and transported. The cast-iron body preserves the original black-lacquered finish in good condition; it is decorated with a subtle embossed print. The original golden decals are also finely preserved. The typewriter works fine: it can be used as a decorative item or to type documents. This antique Corona 3 folding type-bar typewriter is a legendary model, as practical and interesting as beautiful.
