Fine antique Olympia Filia B typewriter, original from Germany and made in 1937. This article is in really good condition and perfect working order, making it possible to type documents in a clear way and with all the charming look of ancient mechanical typing. The cast-iron body that shapes the model is covered by the classic shiny black-lacquered finish typical of old-time typewriters. The lacquer remains in good condition, glossy and even, though it is slightly worn at the front bottom bar. The machine preserves the golden decals with the brand name and model, OLYMPIA and FILIA B. The keyboard is composed of black circular keys with white symbols, every single one remaining greatly preserved. In the early times (early 19th century), the predecessor of the Olympia typewriters was the AEG; the model was renamed in 1930. For decades it was produced in two versions, portable and desk.
