Fine antique wall clock with solid oak wooden box and two dials, one of them containing a barometer-thermometer. The clock was made in England and is dated in 1910, so it is more than one century old. The top dial is the proper clock; it is in wonderful working order and gives the time accurately. Moreover, after being wound up the clock will be in operation for more than two weeks. The bottom dial, bigger in size, mounts a barometer-thermometer system. The barometer is not in working order but the thermometer is perfectly operative and tells the exact temperature. The clocks dial, in very good condition, mounts lochform-type hands (with a circular opening close to the pointed end) and bears black Roman numerals. At the back of the clock we can see the serial number 1175 engraved in the metal casing. The baromether bears printed indications in English and is signed by GUILFORD SALISBURY. Framing its dial we can see four black-enameled shaped metal details, attached to the box with brass rivets. The box is made of solid oak wood and is cut and crafted by hand: it shows a cottage-type shape and bears lovely carved details. The polished finish has been restored so the clock can shine in all its splendor. With a simple and charming design, this antique wall clock with barometer-thermometer is ideal to decorate the most attractive wall in a great dining room or a classy hall.
